Last year most property sales in Berwick-Upon-Tweed involved terraced properties which sold for on average £141,231. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £143,376, while detached properties fetched £252,555.
Berwick-Upon-Tweed, with an overall average price of £168,024, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Cornhill-On-Tweed (£166,267) and Wooler (£165,109), but was more expensive than Belford (£141,708).
During the last year, sold prices in Berwick-Upon-Tweed were 7% down on the previous year and 8% up on 2009 when the average house price was £155,554.
