Last year most property sales in Berwick-Upon-Tweed involved terraced properties which sold for on average £157,626. Detached properties sold for an average price of £288,532, while semi-detached properties fetched £132,547.
Berwick-Upon-Tweed, with an overall average price of £181,758, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Belford (£177,205), but was more expensive than Cornhill-On-Tweed (£165,848) and cheaper than Wooler (£192,356).
During the last year, sold prices in Berwick-Upon-Tweed were 23% up on the previous year and 17% up on 2009 when the average house price was £155,554.
