The majority of sales in Birmingham during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £160,485. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £199,421, with flats fetching £153,361.
Birmingham, with an overall average price of £188,785, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Birmingham City Centre (£197,177), but was more expensive than Sparkhill (£143,690) and Small Heath (£123,216).
Overall sold prices in Birmingham over the last year were 7% up on the previous year and 14% up on the 2015 level of £165,880.
