Most of the sales in Boldon Colliery over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £92,777. Detached properties had an average sold price of £204,562 and semi-detached properties averaged at £124,288.
Boldon Colliery, with an overall average price of £135,360 was more expensive than nearby Jarrow (£103,892), but was cheaper than Boldon (£168,369) and East Boldon (£182,321).
In the past year house prices in Boldon Colliery were 46% up on the year before and 5% down on 2008 when they averaged at £142,125.
