Last year most property sales in Bolton involved terraced properties which sold for on average £87,480. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £127,540, while detached properties fetched £235,296.

Bolton, with an overall average price of £126,774 was more expensive than nearby Farnworth (£83,789), but was cheaper than Heaton (£151,973) and Lostock (£248,459).
