Last year most property sales in Boston involved detached properties which sold for on average £155,544. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £108,412, while terraced properties fetched £90,449.

Boston, with an overall average price of £120,573 was cheaper than nearby Kirton (£133,846), Sibsey (£160,545) and Swineshead (£161,887).

During the last year, sold prices in Boston were similar to the previous year and 7% down on 2007 when the average house price was £129,336.
