Last year most property sales in Brecon Beacons involved detached properties which sold for on average £288,588. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £180,599, while terraced properties fetched £172,749.
Brecon Beacons, with an overall average price of £224,317 was more expensive than nearby Brecon (£203,917) and Builth Wells (£174,458), but was cheaper than Crickhowell (£282,389).
During the last year, sold prices in Brecon Beacons were similar to the previous year and 7% down on 2008 when the average house price was £240,617.
