Last year most property sales in Brecon Beacons involved detached properties which sold for on average £249,066. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £134,768, while semi-detached properties fetched £158,338.

Brecon Beacons, with an overall average price of £185,665, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Builth Wells (£185,768), but was cheaper than Brecon (£208,849) and Crickhowell (£253,813).

During the last year, sold prices in Brecon Beacons were similar to the previous year and 14% down on 2007 when the average house price was £214,813.
