Last year most property sales in Buckinghamshire involved detached properties which sold for on average £570,539. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £258,686, while semi-detached properties fetched £311,094.
Buckinghamshire, with an overall average price of £355,120, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Oxfordshire (£360,978) and Berkshire (£350,674), but was cheaper than Surrey (£455,280). The priciest area within Buckinghamshire was Beaconsfield (£939,190) and the least expensive was Oldbrook (£174,152).
During the last year, sold prices in Buckinghamshire were 6% up on the previous year and 14% up on 2010 when the average house price was £311,796.
