Last year most property sales in Buckinghamshire involved detached properties which sold for on average £591,040. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £271,751, while semi-detached properties fetched £329,411.
Buckinghamshire, with an overall average price of £375,173, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Oxfordshire (£381,139) and Berkshire (£378,136), but was cheaper than Surrey (£483,695). The priciest area within Buckinghamshire was Chesham Bois (£1,049,665) and the least expensive was Oldbrook (£189,351).
During the last year, sold prices in Buckinghamshire were 8% up on the previous year and 18% up on 2013 when the average house price was £318,047.
