Last year most property sales in Chapel-En-Le-Frith involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £160,364. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £133,953, while detached properties fetched £302,696.
Chapel-En-Le-Frith, with an overall average price of £186,631, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Chinley (£193,741) and High Peak (£192,819), but was cheaper than Whaley Bridge (£232,582).
During the last year, sold prices in Chapel-En-Le-Frith were 17% up on the previous year and 5% down on 2008 when the average house price was £195,771.
