Last year most property sales in Cheetham Hill involved terraced properties which sold for on average £111,453. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £145,703, while flats fetched £84,220.
Cheetham Hill, with an overall average price of £124,980 was more expensive than nearby Blackley (£114,774) and Moston (£102,904), but was cheaper than Crumpsall (£132,217).
During the last year, sold prices in Cheetham Hill were 20% up on the previous year and 4% down on 2007 when the average house price was £130,029.
