Last year most property sales in Cirencester involved terraced properties which sold for on average £259,835. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £288,041, while detached properties fetched £454,503.
Cirencester, with an overall average price of £293,597 was more expensive than nearby Chalford (£236,964), but was cheaper than South Cerney (£353,568) and Cotswolds (£336,595).
During the last year, sold prices in Cirencester were 8% up on the previous year and 12% up on 2013 when the average house price was £262,009.
