Most of the sales in Danbury over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £602,353. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £316,373 and terraced properties averaged at £235,493.
Danbury, with an overall average price of £511,291, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Sandon (£514,550), but was more expensive than Bicknacre (£320,770) and cheaper than Little Baddow (£719,358).
In the past year house prices in Danbury were 14% up on the year before and 18% up on 2007 when they averaged at £434,439.
