The majority of sales in EC1 during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £549,082. Terraced properties sold for an average of £1,071,555, with detached properties fetching £730,000.

EC1, with an overall average price of £560,291, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Clerkenwell (£559,394), but was more expensive than St Lukes (£518,267) and cheaper than Aldersgate (£1,465,000).

Overall sold prices in EC1 over the last year were 10% up on the previous year and 12% up on the 2010 level of £499,323.
