Most of the sales in East Preston over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £573,968. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £229,125 and flats averaged at £170,820.

East Preston, with an overall average price of £376,039 was more expensive than nearby Angmering-On-Sea (£289,902), Ferring (£311,496) and Rustington (£247,847).

In the past year house prices in East Preston were 28% up on the year before and 17% up on 2008 when they averaged at £320,656.
