Most of the sales in East Riding Of Yorkshire over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £101,158. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £138,146 and detached properties averaged at £236,142.
East Riding Of Yorkshire, with an overall average price of £149,074, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby South Yorkshire (£145,482), but was cheaper than North Yorkshire (£205,241) and West Yorkshire (£159,173). The most expensive area within East Riding Of Yorkshire was Etton (£498,738) and the cheapest was Withernsea (£86,741).
In the past year house prices in East Riding Of Yorkshire were 3% up on the year before and 3% up on 2010 when they averaged at £145,261.
