Most of the sales in East Riding Of Yorkshire over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £153,757. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £120,375 and detached properties averaged at £268,342.
East Riding Of Yorkshire, with an overall average price of £173,770, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby West Yorkshire (£175,345), but was more expensive than South Yorkshire (£156,212) and cheaper than North Yorkshire (£228,045). The most expensive area within East Riding Of Yorkshire was North Newbald (£369,494) and the cheapest was Withernsea (£106,410).
In the past year house prices in East Riding Of Yorkshire were 8% up on the year before and 15% up on 2014 when they averaged at £151,291.
