Most of the sales in Gatley over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £207,981. Detached properties had an average sold price of £283,008 and terraced properties averaged at £192,156.

Gatley, with an overall average price of £221,065 was more expensive than nearby Cheadle (£206,324), Northenden (£167,565) and Wythenshawe (£104,797).
