The majority of sales in Harwell during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £417,628. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £322,000, with terraced properties fetching £292,625.
Harwell, with an overall average price of £352,036, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Chilton (£352,533), but was more expensive than Didcot (£308,562) and cheaper than East Hendred (£558,667).
Overall sold prices in Harwell over the last year were similar to the previous year and 11% down on the 2008 level of £396,291.
