The majority of sales in Hessle during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £123,127. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £167,048, with detached properties fetching £312,479.
Hessle, with an overall average price of £164,702 was more expensive than nearby Anlaby (£148,883), but was cheaper than Kirk Ella (£251,601) and Swanland (£362,395).
Overall sold prices in Hessle over the last year were similar to the previous year and 4% up on the 2008 level of £158,990.
