The majority of sales in Hessle during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £144,952. Terraced properties sold for an average of £113,961, with detached properties fetching £299,282.
Hessle, with an overall average price of £153,500, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Anlaby (£151,945), but was cheaper than Kirk Ella (£251,231) and Swanland (£303,562).
Overall sold prices in Hessle over the last year were 3% down on the previous year and 3% down on the 2008 level of £158,990.
