The majority of sales in High Peak during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £143,668. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £183,636, with detached properties fetching £317,453.
High Peak, with an overall average price of £196,510 was more expensive than nearby New Mills (£159,320), but was cheaper than Chinley (£210,074) and Whaley Bridge (£225,273).
Overall sold prices in High Peak over the last year were 7% up on the previous year and 6% down on the 2008 level of £208,020.
