The majority of sales in High Peak during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £137,477. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £185,388, with detached properties fetching £323,407.
High Peak, with an overall average price of £197,602 was more expensive than nearby New Mills (£151,979), but was cheaper than Chinley (£220,759) and Whaley Bridge (£232,706).
Overall sold prices in High Peak over the last year were 11% up on the previous year and 5% down on the 2008 level of £208,020.
