Last year most property sales in Ilford involved terraced properties which sold for on average £448,665. Flats sold for an average price of £264,426, while semi-detached properties fetched £501,711.
Ilford, with an overall average price of £410,061, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Aldborough Hatch (£418,842) and Newbury Park (£401,870), but was cheaper than Gants Hill (£457,103).
During the last year, sold prices in Ilford were 6% up on the previous year and 21% up on 2015 when the average house price was £338,374.
