Last year most property sales in Ilford involved terraced properties which sold for on average £441,417. Flats sold for an average price of £250,410, while semi-detached properties fetched £498,091.
Ilford, with an overall average price of £397,464, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Aldborough Hatch (£382,912), but was more expensive than Newbury Park (£367,308) and cheaper than Gants Hill (£426,573).
During the last year, sold prices in Ilford were 10% up on the previous year and 33% up on 2014 when the average house price was £297,966.
