Last year most property sales in Ilford involved terraced properties which sold for on average £430,380. Flats sold for an average price of £245,700, while semi-detached properties fetched £494,330.
Ilford, with an overall average price of £383,738, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Aldborough Hatch (£370,343), but was more expensive than Newbury Park (£356,018) and cheaper than Gants Hill (£404,410).
During the last year, sold prices in Ilford were 10% up on the previous year and 29% up on 2014 when the average house price was £297,936.
