Most of the sales in Kennington over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £382,406. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £271,366 and terraced properties averaged at £182,667.

Kennington, with an overall average price of £322,990 was more expensive than nearby Radley (£304,869) and Cowley (£285,257), but was cheaper than Boars Hill (£1,049,730).

In the past year house prices in Kennington were 13% up on the year before and similar to 2007 when they averaged at £316,070.
