Last year most property sales in Marple Bridge involved detached properties which sold for on average £395,835. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £205,390, while semi-detached properties fetched £314,000.
Marple Bridge, with an overall average price of £312,472 was more expensive than nearby Marple (£230,667), Romiley (£189,870) and Broadbottom (£225,843).
During the last year, sold prices in Marple Bridge were 10% up on the previous year and similar to 2008 when the average house price was £318,222.
