Most of the sales in Neston over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £271,630. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £156,158 and terraced properties averaged at £131,364.

Neston, with an overall average price of £195,142 was more expensive than nearby Little Sutton (£153,637), but was cheaper than Parkgate (£296,067) and Willaston (£306,100).

In the past year house prices in Neston were 3% down on the year before and 7% down on 2008 when they averaged at £208,872.
