Most of the sales in New Cross over the past year were flats which on average sold for £293,364. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £601,058 and semi-detached properties averaged at £821,429.
New Cross, with an overall average price of £388,558, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby New Cross Gate (£407,195), but was cheaper than Brockley (£482,061) and Ladywell (£449,963).
In the past year house prices in New Cross were 11% up on the year before and 31% up on 2012 when they averaged at £297,495.
