Most of the sales in New Cross over the past year were flats which on average sold for £274,375. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £548,754 and semi-detached properties averaged at £680,000.
New Cross, with an overall average price of £354,029, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby New Cross Gate (£370,681), but was cheaper than Brockley (£461,891) and Ladywell (£431,075).
In the past year house prices in New Cross were 6% up on the year before and 19% up on 2012 when they averaged at £297,495.
