The majority of sales in Norfolk during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £271,108. Terraced properties sold for an average of £160,749, with semi-detached properties fetching £178,271.
Norfolk, with an overall average price of £207,281 was cheaper than nearby Suffolk (£228,181), Cambridgeshire (£257,490) and Essex (£274,922). The most expensive area within Norfolk was Brancaster (£573,606) and the cheapest was Great Yarmouth (£134,717).
Overall sold prices in Norfolk over the last year were 6% up on the previous year and 9% up on the 2007 level of £189,913.
