The majority of sales in Norfolk during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £273,800. Terraced properties sold for an average of £161,874, with semi-detached properties fetching £180,690.
Norfolk, with an overall average price of £208,700 was cheaper than nearby Suffolk (£229,230), Cambridgeshire (£261,700) and Essex (£280,929). The most expensive area within Norfolk was Burnham Market (£550,987) and the cheapest was Great Yarmouth (£132,476).
Overall sold prices in Norfolk over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and 10% up on the 2007 level of £189,914.
