The majority of sales in Norfolk during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £262,629. Terraced properties sold for an average of £158,100, with semi-detached properties fetching £173,177.
Norfolk, with an overall average price of £201,673 was cheaper than nearby Suffolk (£219,353), Cambridgeshire (£247,231) and Essex (£264,762). The most expensive area within Norfolk was Brancaster (£632,325) and the cheapest was Great Yarmouth (£131,471).
Overall sold prices in Norfolk over the last year were 6% up on the previous year and 6% up on the 2007 level of £189,917.
