Last year most property sales in North East London involved flats which sold for on average £342,997. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £460,392, while semi-detached properties fetched £489,953.
North East London, with an overall average price of £410,409 was more expensive than nearby East London (£365,133), but was cheaper than North London (£637,220) and Central London (£1,419,537). The priciest area within North East London was Hackney (£527,450) and the least expensive was Waltham Forest (£357,505).
During the last year, sold prices in North East London were 12% up on the previous year and 31% up on 2012 when the average house price was £313,410.
