Last year most property sales in North East London involved flats which sold for on average £419,421. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £584,571, while semi-detached properties fetched £613,348.
North East London, with an overall average price of £514,568 was more expensive than nearby East London (£466,716), but was cheaper than North London (£736,030) and Central London (£1,640,702). The priciest area within North East London was Hackney (£622,758) and the least expensive was Redbridge (£465,061).
During the last year, sold prices in North East London were 5% up on the previous year and 19% up on 2015 when the average house price was £432,707.
