Last year most property sales in Old Ford involved flats which sold for on average £421,945. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £715,890, while semi-detached properties fetched £563,000.
Old Ford, with an overall average price of £454,026, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Bow (£434,312) and South Bromley (£431,792), but was cheaper than Mile End (£524,963).
During the last year, sold prices in Old Ford were 24% up on the previous year and 47% up on 2013 when the average house price was £308,423.
