Last year most property sales in Oldham involved terraced properties which sold for on average £94,802. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £144,379, while detached properties fetched £244,020.
Oldham, with an overall average price of £132,793, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Lees (£134,940) and Chadderton (£135,533), but was cheaper than Royton (£157,561).
During the last year, sold prices in Oldham were similar to the previous year and 11% up on 2007 when the average house price was £119,770.
