Most of the sales in Oxford over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £358,124. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £357,596 and flats averaged at £251,792.

Oxford, with an overall average price of £380,865 was more expensive than nearby Marston (£297,508) and Cowley (£285,257), but was cheaper than Jericho (£669,731).

In the past year house prices in Oxford were 9% up on the year before and 9% up on 2010 when they averaged at £349,976.
