Last year most property sales in Poole involved detached properties which sold for on average £353,125. Flats sold for an average price of £237,344, while semi-detached properties fetched £221,392.

Poole, with an overall average price of £271,900, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Parkstone (£272,335), but was more expensive than Oakdale (£211,298) and cheaper than Lower Parkstone (£384,634).

During the last year, sold prices in Poole were similar to the previous year and 4% down on 2008 when the average house price was £283,188.
