Most of the sales in Queensbury over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £91,875. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £146,608 and detached properties averaged at £229,122.
Queensbury, with an overall average price of £148,473 was more expensive than nearby Clayton (£128,624) and Thornton (£130,124), but was cheaper than Shelf (£177,026).
In the past year house prices in Queensbury were similar to the year before and 7% up on 2010 when they averaged at £139,400.
