Most of the sales in Redbridge over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £537,902. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £590,412 and flats averaged at £244,900.
Redbridge, with an overall average price of £526,331 was more expensive than nearby Cranbrook (£457,008) and Clayhall (£464,268), but was cheaper than New Wanstead (£646,970).
In the past year house prices in Redbridge were 16% up on the year before and 29% up on 2015 when they averaged at £408,679.
