Most of the sales in Romford over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £349,488. Flats had an average sold price of £229,097 and semi-detached properties averaged at £386,251.
Romford, with an overall average price of £331,524, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Rise Park (£325,678), but was cheaper than Marshalls Park (£399,753) and Gidea Park (£424,205).
In the past year house prices in Romford were 14% up on the year before and 31% up on 2014 when they averaged at £252,155.
