The majority of sales in Royton during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £149,279. Terraced properties sold for an average of £112,558, with detached properties fetching £229,629.
Royton, with an overall average price of £148,162, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Shaw (£145,023), but was more expensive than Oldham (£126,877) and Chadderton (£125,686).
Overall sold prices in Royton over the last year were similar to the previous year and similar to the 2007 level of £146,306.
