Last year most property sales in Rubery involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £131,527. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £110,752, while detached properties fetched £269,471.
Rubery, with an overall average price of £155,967 was cheaper than nearby Rednal (£175,362), Romsley (£230,117) and Barnt Green (£472,245).
During the last year, sold prices in Rubery were 10% up on the previous year and 16% up on 2007 when the average house price was £134,759.
