Most of the sales in Shipley over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £149,969. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £141,642 and detached properties averaged at £212,548.
Shipley, with an overall average price of £147,630, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Wrose (£143,375), but was cheaper than Saltaire (£168,601) and Baildon (£205,083).
In the past year house prices in Shipley were 9% up on the year before and 6% down on 2007 when they averaged at £156,678.
