Most of the sales in Shipley over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £152,283. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £131,682 and flats averaged at £97,951.
Shipley, with an overall average price of £140,844 was more expensive than nearby Wrose (£129,693), but was cheaper than Saltaire (£163,146) and Baildon (£192,795).
In the past year house prices in Shipley were 6% up on the year before and 10% down on 2007 when they averaged at £156,678.
