Most of the sales in Shipley over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £145,563. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £139,109 and flats averaged at £95,455.
Shipley, with an overall average price of £144,336, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Wrose (£139,216), but was cheaper than Saltaire (£168,071) and Baildon (£207,498).
In the past year house prices in Shipley were 3% up on the year before and 8% down on 2007 when they averaged at £156,846.
