Last year most property sales in South Croydon involved flats which sold for on average £246,611. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £435,344, while terraced properties fetched £335,214.
South Croydon, with an overall average price of £364,247, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Selsdon (£347,159), but was more expensive than Croydon (£311,567) and cheaper than Sanderstead (£485,116).
During the last year, sold prices in South Croydon were 12% up on the previous year and 27% up on 2013 when the average house price was £286,486.
