Last year most property sales in St. George involved terraced properties which sold for on average £211,400. Flats sold for an average price of £133,189, while semi-detached properties fetched £205,677.
St. George, with an overall average price of £193,886, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby St. Annes Park (£190,736) and Redfield (£195,151), but was more expensive than St Annes (£183,336).
During the last year, sold prices in St. George were 9% up on the previous year and 24% up on 2007 when the average house price was £156,324.
