The majority of sales in Staffordshire during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £129,438. Detached properties sold for an average of £235,169, with terraced properties fetching £106,083.

Staffordshire, with an overall average price of £156,833, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby West Midlands (County) (£154,629), but was cheaper than Shropshire (£185,300) and Warwickshire (£218,425). The most expensive area within Staffordshire was Kings Bromley (£422,806) and the cheapest was Stoke-On-Trent (£108,940).

Overall sold prices in Staffordshire over the last year were similar to the previous year and similar to the 2010 level of £159,501.
