Last year most property sales in Standish involved detached properties which sold for on average £271,443. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £153,317, while terraced properties fetched £141,485.
Standish, with an overall average price of £197,930, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Appley Bridge (£193,853), but was more expensive than Shevington (£169,838) and Swinley (£151,444).
During the last year, sold prices in Standish were 7% up on the previous year and 3% up on 2006 when the average house price was £191,277.
