Last year most property sales in Standish involved detached properties which sold for on average £229,204. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £144,953, while terraced properties fetched £122,831.

Standish, with an overall average price of £169,671, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Appley Bridge (£174,312), but was more expensive than Shevington (£147,422) and Swinley (£133,876).

During the last year, sold prices in Standish were 3% down on the previous year and 12% down on 2006 when the average house price was £192,100.
