Most of the sales in Standon over the past year were flats which on average sold for £154,700. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £324,000 and detached properties averaged at £402,500.

Standon, with an overall average price of £269,958 was more expensive than nearby Puckeridge (£240,840), but was cheaper than Braughing (£410,833) and Much Hadham (£494,298).

In the past year house prices in Standon were 19% down on the year before and 49% down on 2010 when they averaged at £530,763.
