The majority of sales in Swansea during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £107,364. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £144,257, with detached properties fetching £235,618.
Swansea, with an overall average price of £147,422, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Cockett (£143,815), but was more expensive than Brynhyfryd (£92,525) and Treboeth (£133,560).
Overall sold prices in Swansea over the last year were 7% up on the previous year and similar to the 2008 level of £146,557.
