The majority of sales in The City during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £563,552. Terraced properties sold for an average of £1,095,444, with semi-detached properties fetching £462,122.

The City, with an overall average price of £571,378, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Barbican (£577,272), but was more expensive than Smithfield (£513,770) and West Smithfield (£513,770).

Overall sold prices in The City over the last year were 9% up on the previous year and 10% up on the 2010 level of £517,198.
