Most of the sales in Thornaby over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £112,766. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £77,532 and flats averaged at £67,535.
Thornaby, with an overall average price of £104,772 was cheaper than nearby Linthorpe (£128,076), Ingleby Barwick (£200,929) and Hartburn (£175,018).
