Last year most property sales in Tonyrefail involved detached properties which sold for on average £181,505. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £85,180, while semi-detached properties fetched £111,295.
Tonyrefail, with an overall average price of £127,508, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Brynna (£131,192), but was more expensive than Gilfach Goch (£84,546) and Porth (£75,672).
During the last year, sold prices in Tonyrefail were 3% up on the previous year and 4% down on 2012 when the average house price was £132,353.
