The majority of sales in Walsall during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £147,053. Terraced properties sold for an average of £116,043, with detached properties fetching £261,000.
Walsall, with an overall average price of £155,635 was more expensive than nearby Bloxwich (£136,665), but was cheaper than Pelsall (£169,250) and Aldridge (£241,986).
Overall sold prices in Walsall over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and 6% up on the 2014 level of £146,811.
