Most of the sales in Warwickshire over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £365,720. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £207,225 and terraced properties averaged at £189,457.
Warwickshire, with an overall average price of £243,745 was more expensive than nearby West Midlands (County) (£168,955), Worcestershire (£221,384) and Staffordshire (£166,647). The most expensive area within Warwickshire was Burmington (£875,000) and the cheapest was Ansley Common (£123,499).
In the past year house prices in Warwickshire were 7% up on the year before and 10% up on 2010 when they averaged at £221,646.
