Most of the sales in Warwickshire over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £368,164. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £208,949 and terraced properties averaged at £188,619.
Warwickshire, with an overall average price of £244,087 was more expensive than nearby West Midlands (County) (£170,479), Worcestershire (£223,508) and Staffordshire (£168,877). The most expensive area within Warwickshire was Lapworth (£663,936) and the cheapest was Ansley Common (£122,714).
In the past year house prices in Warwickshire were 4% up on the year before and 10% up on 2010 when they averaged at £221,646.
