Most of the sales in Watford over the past year were flats which on average sold for £223,402. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £331,456 and semi-detached properties averaged at £412,145.
Watford, with an overall average price of £349,352, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Garston (£340,914), but was cheaper than Nascot Wood (£396,945) and Cassiobury (£397,045).
In the past year house prices in Watford were 15% up on the year before and 27% up on 2013 when they averaged at £275,505.
